Public asked to report any information on early morning shooting in Ninepipe area

Lake County law enforcement are looking for several suspects involved in a shooting incident that occurred during the early morning hours of June 18 in the Ninepipe area. Lake County Sheriff Don Bell said that the 911-dispatch center received a call at 4:15 a.m. concerning an armed robbery. “The reporting party stated he woke up to people unlawfully entering vehicles in his driveway,” Bell said. “The reporting party fired a warning shot, which elicited return fire from one of the three to four suspects.
