POLSON – Polson Rural Fire membership representatives presented a check to the Polson Rural Fire District Friday morning to help purchase a new 2,500-gallon tactical tender truck recently added to the district’s firefighting fleet. A press statement released by the Polson Rural Fire Membership, a 501(c)(3) group which consists of members who provide volunteer emergency services to the Polson Rural Fire District, stated the membership is glad to be able to present a check for $10,000 toward the purchase of the new equipment, which will greatly enhance the department’s ability to protect the community.
