News from Friends of Ronan Parks and Trails
The nonprofit Friends of Ronan Parks & Trails, FORPAT, group is sponsoring the first annual Mission Valley Kids Walk 5K Run on Sunday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. in Polson. The event will start at Walmart and travel by many local businesses and sponsors. Registration opens at noon. Face painting will be available on-site for all little superheroes & their avengers. There will be a costume contest for best capes, so dress as your favorite superhero. The cost is $20 per participant or $45 for a family of up to four. The event shirts are so unique, everyone is going to want one these.
Any proceeds from this event will be dispersed by the FORPAT group to benefit parks & trails throughout the Mission Valley.
