THOMPSON FALLS — The Lady Pirates split their week defeating Thompson Falls and taking a fall to Frenchtown.

At Thompson Falls on Tuesday, the Lady Pirates came out on top 3-1 against the Lady Bluehawks.

Out of Polson’s 102 total digs, Taylor Davis came away with 25 and Jaiden Toth added 23. Toth also had eight aces and 29 assists.

Thursday the Lady Pirates hosted Frenchtown but could not keep the Lady Broncs at bay, falling 1-3.

Hayley Fyant knocked down 16 kills while Toth had 16 digs and four aces. Lydia Dupuis chipped in four aces as well.

The Lady Pirates went 10-4 in the Smelter City volleyball tournament held in Frenchtown Sept. 5-6. Games went to 19 instead of the usual 25. 

The Lady Pirates will host Columbia Falls for Homecoming week Sept. 20.

Frenchtown def. Polson 23-25, 25-9, 25-15, 25-19
