MISSOULA – The Maidens had a tough time getting things done on the court, dropping two matches over the week.
Tuesday brought the Maidens to Missoula to challenge Loyola-Sacred Heart but the Maidens just couldn’t find the edge to get past the Breakers’ tough line at the net, sending the Maidens home 0-3.
Sydnee Clairmont and Kendra Starkel combined to lead the Maidens. Clairmont posted nine kills and seven assists while Starkel added nine digs and two aces.
At home on Saturday, the Maidens fell to Thompson Falls 3-1.
The Clairmont/Starkel fighting duo took charge once again with Clairmont running away with 12 kills and 13 assists and Starkel finishing with 26 digs and four aces.
The Maidens will host Plains Sept. 20.Results
