KALISPELL – In the two-day dual course event, golfers from as far away as Browning competed at the Kalispell Invitational.

Featuring five AA teams, Lady Pirate Peyton Anderson had her hands full with competition but didn’t let it deter her from keeping it cool on the links and finishing in ninth for Polson. Anderson shot an 87 on the Buffalo Hills course and a 91 at Northern Pines for a combined score of 178.

The boys just missed top spots with Reno Lindesmith faring the best with a total score of 160, shooting 80 on each course, followed by Carson McDaniel (86-80-166), Curtis Capdeville (84-87-171), and Alex Salois (101-110-211).

Up next for the Pirates and Lady Pirates will be the Divisional Tournament played at the Meadow Lake Golf Course in Columbia Falls Sept. 26.
