Yea …the election is over. No more listening to campaign ads. If you listen to the ads, no one is fit to run for office. Wouldn’t it be nice if the candidates would tell us what they stand for, and forget about how lousy the other candidates are?
We had a full house for our birthday dinner and Marilyn Shehorn won our 50/50 raffle.
Thanks to the band that always plays such great music and to all the people who joined us and participated in the raffle.
With a new month, we have a new list of things going on here at the center. Our evening meal this month is on Thursday, Nov. 13. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. and pork roast is on the menu.
The card players have gone back to their winter hours and will now be meeting at 1:30 p.m. They will meet here on Monday, Nov. 17.
The foot clinic will be from 10 until noon, on Wednesday, the 19th. You don’t need an appointment, but please call (406) 676-2371, so they know how many to expect.
Our Thanksgiving meal will be at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 19. Come in and join us for a traditional Thanksgiving feast. We will also have a “fall hat” contest, so get out your hat and decorate it up. We may even come up with prizes for the winners.
We are fixing up another basket to raffle off. This one will have a
Christmas theme and that day is not that far off.
The Council on Aging is having their annual raffle with a lot of great prizes. Call them at (406) 676-2367 or stop by the center to purchase tickets.
The center will be closed for Thanksgiving Day and the Friday afterwards.

Wednesday, Nov. 5: ham and bean soup
Friday, Nov. 7: Swiss steak
Monday, Nov. 10: chicken nuggets
Wednesday, Nov. 12: chicken potpie,
Thursday, Nov. 13: pork roast
Friday, Nov. 14: potato bar
Monday, Nov. 17: spaghetti
Wednesday, Nov. 19: Thanksgiving Dinner
Friday, Nov. 21: fish
Monday, Nov. 24: pulled pork sandwiches
Wednesday, Nov. 26: ham sandwiches and soup
Thursday-Friday, Nov. 27-28: Closed for Thanksgiving.
We have noon meals at the center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and we have one evening meal per month, on the second Thursday. We also offer home delivered meals five days a week. If you are homebound and have no one to cook for you, give Andrea at call at (406) 676-2371, to sign up for them.
