POLSON — Sometimes my brain is like the Bermuda Triangle; information goes in and then it’s never found again. Like last week, I wrote that the Bailey Insurance representative would be here at 1:30 p.m. instead of 10:30 a.m. My apologies go to the person who showed up at 1:30 p.m.

Our community Thanksgiving dinner will be on Thursday, Nov. 27, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Anyone wishing to donate rolls, pies, salads, cash or volunteer time is asked to call us at (406) 883-4735. Also, if you would like a meal delivered to your home, please call us.

A reminder: There will be no bingo on Friday, Nov. 28.

We still have a good supply of $18 per box See’s candy here for sale.

We are having a pumpkin decorating contest. Pick up your pumpkin at the senior center and have it back by Nov. 24 for judging. They will be displayed on the tables at the community dinner.

Cris Alter took women’s high game with a 255. Pete Daniels also had a 255 for men’s high game but Jack Adamson nearly tied him with 254. Women’s high series saw Cris Alter with 680. Lefty, Bob Elsberry, scored 677 for men’s high series. Anita Swope continues to amaze with a 707 for women’s high handicap series and that rascal, Pete Daniels, tossed a 677 for the men’s high series. What happened to Larry Alter? I saw him there but he didn’t quite make the cut.

The lunch menu is:

•  Thursday, Nov. 20: Polish dogs, grouchy German (sauerkraut) and baked beans

•  Friday, Nov. 21: roast pork, whipped potatoes

•  Monday, Nov. 24: goulash, French bread

•  Tuesday, Nov. 25: pork chops, rice and gravy

•  Wednesday, Nov. 26: Navy bean and ham soup, corn bread
