Gloria Jean Phillips Trahan
ELMO — Gloria Jean Phillips Trahan, 62, of Elmo died in her home Monday, March 15, 2010.
Gloria was born Aug. 30, 1947 to James Douglas Phillips Sr. and Mary Gravelle Phillips in Flagstone, British Columbia.
Gloria is survived by husband, Art Trahan Sr.; daughters Crystal Couture Houle, Michelle Trahan; stepsons Les Trahan, Art Trahan Jr., Daniel Trahan, and Luke Trahan; stepdaughters Nicole Trahan Peasely and Chelsea Hewankorn; sisters Sadie Phillips Saloway, Angela Gorrie Paradis, Susie Gorrie/Searls; brother, Victor Phillips; grandchildren Jesse Houle IV, Tonya Houle, Stephanie Cleereman, Melanie Houle, Danny Houle, Josie Ray Usher; and great-grandchildren Carsyn Mayer, Reece Mayer, Cassidy Sepneski, and Sydney Houle.
Gloria is preceded in death by parents, James Douglas Phillips Sr. and Mary Gravelle; son, Darrin Couture; sister, Sarah “Sally” Pierre; brother, James Douglas Phillips Jr. “Sonny.”
Rosary was held March 18 at Elmo Community Center. Funeral Services were March 19 and interment followed at Dayton Cemetery.
