Turkey trotters run, walk Thanksgiving morning

More than 100 people ran the 3-mile Polson Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. This was the 7th annual fun run, and funds raised went to Polson Loaves and Fish.
The Turkey Trot is a way for runners and walkers to get out of the kitchen and wear off some extra pie and mashed potatoes and gravy calories before Thanksgivng dinner.
The race began and ended at Century 21 Real Estate with a trip along Montana State Highway 35 and through Mission Bay, according to the Polson Running website at polsonrunning.com.
The next race scheduled by the group is the Sorry ‘Bout That Half Marathon on Jan. 10, 2015.
