MISSOULA – The Chiefs opened up their season with trouble last weekend while facing class A teams at the Northwestern/Southwestern A tip-off tourney played at the University of Montana.
In game one on Friday, the Chiefs faced off against Hamilton. After coming out of the first quarter with a four point lead the Chiefs fell flat scoring a final 28 to Hamilton’s 50.
Chief Cedric Earthboy led in points netting 15 of Ronan’s 28.
On Saturday the Chiefs fell to Dillon 30-71.
Colton McCrea was high scorer finishing with nine points.
The Chiefs will head to Florence Dec. 19 and then will return to host Eureka Dec. 20.
