CHARLO – The Vikings came away with a split last week but not without putting up a good fight to earn a notch on the District 14-C conference pole.

Friday the Vikings hosted valley neighbors, Mission, falling to the class B Bulldogs 39-72. After a devastating 8-26 blow in the first quarter, the Vikings had a tough time picking back up, underscoring the Bulldogs in every frame throughout the contest.
