Ann Christine Knudson Croft
RONAN — Ann Christine Knudson Croft, a lifelong resident of Ronan, passed away on Nov. 27, 2014, at the age of 58, at her home. Ann’s husband Lonny Croft; their children Jesse (Shawna) and Dustin (Lisa) Croft, all of Ronan; sisters Suzanne (Greg) Bahny of Helena and Anita Paul of Ronan; and five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, survive her.
Ann was born in Ronan on Feb. 16, 1956 to Norman and Barbara Knudson. She attended Ronan High School where she excelled in track and field. Her athleticism continued throughout the years, winning her awards in weight lifting and arm wrestling competitions. She was formerly employed with Jore Corporation where she gave many years of hard work and devotion.
Ann was a devoted animal lover and had a particular passion for horses as well as her two beloved Basset Hounds, Buddy and Barb. She spent every summer of her youth riding horseback with her sisters competing in horse-jumping competitions with her mother in her later years.
Ann was an avid gardener and spent the better part of the springtime in her greenhouse growing beautiful flowers that would cover her deck and lawn. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and four-wheeling with her family and friends.
Ann’s kind heart and gentle spirit will be greatly missed by many.
