Hi, I’m Gene Bond and I’ve taken over Ronan Senior Citizen’s Center newsletter ... Linda Schoon has passed this task on to me. She has worked tirelessly and has decided to lend her talents to other senior citizen’s work. We wish her many more years of service. Her handiwork in the Valley Journal will be missed but she remains at the center. Thanks Linda for your contributions and continued labors of love for Ronan senior citizens.
The foot clinic is rescheduled for next Wednesday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. at the Ronan Senior Citizen’s Center. Donations are welcomed.
The birthday dinner is the last Friday of the month, Jan. 30. Come and celebrate with us. (The older, the better.)
Crafts activities take place on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and cards will be played on Monday, Jan. 19 at 1:30 p.m.
Reminder: If you are aware of a hospitalized shut-in who needs a visit, please let me know. More about this later... ‘ Our lunch menu for the coming week (great food):
• Friday, Jan. 16: taco bar
• Monday, Jan. 19: fish
• Wednesday, Jan. 21: chicken cordon bleu
