These days my wild oats are mostly enjoyed with prunes and all-bran. If God had wanted me to touch my toes he would have put them on my knees.
The veterans’ representative will be here on the third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m.–noon. This month the day is Jan. 20.
The hearing aid representative will be here on Tuesday, Jan. 27, from 9–11 a.m.
Tax season is nearly upon us once again. We will have preparers in our facility on Mondays and Thursdays, beginning on Feb. 2. Call (406) 883-4735, for an appointment.
Cris Alter is back at senior bowling after being gone for two weeks and had the high women’s game of, whoa 300. That’s twice now for her. Don Young had the men’s high with 277. Cris also captured the high women’s series with 776 and Don Young had the high men’s series with 761. Cris also scored 776 for the women’s handicap series and Gene Johnson’s handicap series was 856. We’re seeing that young man’s name quite often lately. The cards didn’t fall right this week for him while playing pinochle. Top honors went to Dawn Lynn with her 6160 and Carol Daniels took second with 5660.
The birthday dinner is on Jan. 23.
Our lunch menu for the coming week will be:
• Thursday, Jan. 22: Polish dogs
• Friday, Jan. 23: roast beef, whipped potatoes
• Monday, Jan. 26: vegetable beef soup, ham sandwich
• Tuesday, Jan. 27: hamburger steak, noodles
• Wednesday, Jan. 28: enchilada
• Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
