St. IGNATIUS – The Lady Vikings enjoyed a victory dance after picking up a pair of wins over the last week, but they had to fight to put on those boogie shoes.
In the valley rumble Thursday, the Lady Vikings snagged a win against Mission’s Lady Bulldogs 47-30.
After falling behind by a single point in the first frame on the court, the Lady Vikings kicked it into high gear, outscoring their rivals in each of the following three quarters.
Lady Viking Mikaylan Roylance led the cause, netting 14 for her team.
On Friday the Lady Vikings hosted St. Regis, 14-C foes that made it not so easy on Charlo to pick up the 60-50 W after taking it into overtime frames.
While netting eight free throws in the OT, the Lady Vikings secured the conference win, bringing them closer to the top spot on the District 14-C ladder.
Skyler Frame and Shayna Nagy combined for 36 points with 16 apiece for the Lady Vikings while Roylance and Lindsey Tryon each added 10.
The Lady Vikings will host Two Eagle River Thursday and Noxon Saturday.
