Judy Lynn McDonald Matt
ST. IGNATIUS — Judy Lynn McDonald Matt, 43, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 10 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.
A member of the CS&KT, she was born in St. Ignatius Dec. 15, 1966 to Francis and Julia (Hernandez) McDonald.
She was preceded in death by father, Francis “Popsucker” McDonald and sister, Donna “Bell” McDonald.
She is survived by husband, Gene Matt; children Paulette, Bridget, Elizabeth, Michael, Mary Jo, Abbey, Carol Ann, and Mary; mother, Julia Hernandez; siblings Francis “Fuss” Jr., Carol Faye, James, Allen, Rusty, Ray and twin sister, Julie; uncles Baptiste “Buddy” McDonald and Ron “Nunu” Hernandez; aunts Carol, Evelyn, Agnes, Mary, Diane, Delores, Patty, Felicite McDonald, Dolly Linsebigler and Shirley McDonald Trahan; godchildren Sonia Flammond, Jamie Flammond, Clifford Flammond Jr., and Mikaela Flammond.
A traditional wake began Feb. 12 with the rosary being recited Feb. 14.
Funeral services were held Feb. 15 in the Longhouse with burial following in Snyelmn Sntmtmne.
