Katherine Irene Washula Miller
ST. IGNATIUS — Katherine Irene Washula Miller, 95, of St. Ignatius, passed away Feb. 5, 2010 at St. Luke’s in Ronan.
Katherine was born in Canada on Dec. 7, 1914 to Mike and Pauline Washula. She was raised in Malta and graduated from Mission High School.
On Nov. 16, 1935, she married Merle Miller and they lived in St. Ignatius.
Katherine was preceded in death by husband, Merle; brother, John Ivanovitch; sisters Ann Hirschman, Susie Cote, MaryAnn Buffington, Pauline Toczek, and Rosine Davis; son, Wayne Miller; and grandson, Ray Stonehocker.
Katherine is survived by daughters Barbara Griffiths, Nell Buffington and Thelma Brown; son, Mike Miller; grandchildren Kim Archambeault, Kelly Larson, Kasey Miller, Kandi Clausen, Dell Griffiths, Robin Griffiths, Randy Griffiths, Shane Griffiths, David Stonehocker, Shelly Stonehocker, Tina Stonehocker, Toby Bartel, Theresa Bryant and Chloe, and Amy Miller.
A memorial service will be held during the summer.
