DIXON —  We had a great visit with Joyce Siers, who’s daughter drove her to the center for a corned beef and cabbage dinner. I will say, of the three traditional Irish dinners I enjoyed this week, by far the best was served at our center. Cook Jen Hammond made the best Irish soda bread I’ve ever tasted.

Join us next Thursday at noon for Indian tacos, made with Jen’s super fry bread. Monday at 6 p.m. will be breaded chicken with chickpea (garbanzo bean) salad. All ages are most welcome to join us for all meals. On the last Monday of the month, (March 30), the traveling pinochle players will be at our center. 

See if you can get in a good April Fool’s joke next Wednesday.
