Cecil M. Madsen
POLSON — Cecil M. Madsen, 86, of Polson, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010 at home.
Cecil was born Oct. 25, 1923, to Emery and Cecelia Madsen.
He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Elks Club, and Lions Club.
He was preceded in death by parents; sisters Frieda and Marie; and brother, Melvin.
Survivors include wife, Vickie Madsen; nieces Donna Anderson, Darlene Compton, and Diane Nelson; a special second cousin, Ingrid Davis; and family friend, Helen Sowre.
Visitation was held Feb. 3. Funeral services will be Thursday, Feb. 4, 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Polson with Rev. Paul Rowold officiating. Military honors and a light reception will follow at the church.
Grave side services will then be conducted at Missoula Cemetery at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission Valley Animal Shelter or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
