Marvin J. Peone
SEATTLE, Wash. — Marvin J. Peone, 47, passed away Thursday, Jan. 28 at Harborview Medical Center from injuries received in an auto/pedestrian accident.
A member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe, Marvin was born in St. Ignatius to Adeline Bernice (Marengo) and Francis Peone. He was raised on the Flathead Reservation and attended the Urselines and Mission Schools before going to Utah. He worked in many areas before moving to Seattle 20 years ago.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Dean, Kenneth, Leslie, Gary, Stanley and Alan.
Survivors include siblings Howard, Raymond, Douglas, Darrel, Beverly, Joyce and Sharlene; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation was held Feb. 3 at the Foster Funeral Home in St. Ignatius with a vigil rosary. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home with burial following in the Snyelmn Sntmtmne.
