Judge Justin L. Bartels dealt with the following cases from Jan. 1-14:
Derrick Pluff, 23, pleaded not guilty to a stop sign violation, and a seatbelt violation. He was found guilty, fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs for the stop sign violation, and for not wearing a seatbelt, fined $20.
Johathan Wayne Snyder, 29, pleaded guilty to reckless driving, he was found guilty, fined $265, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.
Kinsey Kay Learn, 17, pleaded guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of .02% BAC, under 21 years - first offense and to operating without liability insurance in effect - first offense. She was found guilty of both offenses and for operating with BAC of .02%, she was fined $160, charged $35 in court costs and had her driver’s license suspended for 60 days. For operating without liability, she was fined $250 and charged $35 in court costs.
Michael Robert Jackson, 21, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - first offense. He was found guilty, fined $250, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.
Randy Charles Strait, 19, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect - first offense. He was found guilty, fined $215, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.
