HELENA —The Audience Awards and Montana Office of Tourism Real Montana competition is now open for voting on one-minute videos submitted to compete in five categories: Food and Beverage; Artists, Culture and Events; Montana Places; Montana Outdoor Adventure and Montana Wildlife and Scenery.
A local submission includes the day in the life of the owners of Flathead Lake Cheese Factory in Polson, called “The Quest for Curds.”
The 142 submissions are competing for two weeks from April 7-21. The competition will award $5,000 to the first through third place films that garner the most votes in each of the five categories.
The top two videos from each category will compete in a finals round for two weeks from April 22-29 for $15,000.
Real Montana is run by The Audience Awards, a networking platform connecting filmmakers, film festivals and audiences through online short film competitions where the audience chooses the winners. Audiences worldwide can sign up for free to watch and vote for their favorite films once per day.
