RONAN – Happy greetings just for you...and, just for you, the weather is beautiful. Further, the Ronan Senior Citizen’s Center is just for you as well. The ruling authority, meaning the officers, staff, cooks, vendors, volunteers and others, all blend in to make our center successful and are really here for you. We measure “success” not necessarily by numbers, but by happy and satisfied members and their guests. Let us know if we’ve overlooked something of value. Your time spent here at the Ronan Senior Center, 528 Main Street, is important to us as we continually seek to serve you better and bring quality to the forefront in all senior activities. You may also contact Martha or Andrea at (406) 676-2371 or Council on Aging at (406) 676-2367.

Keep in mind that the “Over Ninety Party” is coming. It includes a free meal. The date is June 19, so set your calendar and wind your clock. Why so much lead-time? Ok, ninety is a clue...uh, maybe not. Let me know.

Other happenings: The foot clinic by Jane is Wednesday, May 3, from 10 a.m.-noon. Dinner is at 5 p.m. at the center. Crafts are on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. and cards are played the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. Call (406) 676-2371, for more details. Don’t forget Meals on Wheels, an important part of our senior program. Call Lynette for assistance, at (406) 676-2371.

One housekeeping note: meals are $4 and any food baggie take-out costs extra. Thanks for your cooperation.

On a happy note, Ralph Solomon was back and oh the stories he could tell. We were so happy to see him and Marilyn. There are others who are not yet able to come back for health reasons so know that we think of you and a few of us will try to visit you. Please keep praying.

Another happy topic: food!

•  Wednesday, April 22: brunch -egg scramble bake, biscuits and gravy, fruit

•  Friday, April 24: b-day dinner -roast beef, mashed potatoes, vegetables, fruit

•  Monday, April 27: salad bar, veggies, fruit, bread

•  Wednesday, April 29:  meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegies, fruit

When you’re away from home always keep a happy and alert mind. A thought: Just leave deep thinking for coffee time.
