ARLEE – The Arlee Senior Center board of directors’ May meeting will be May 4 at 10 a.m.
Celebration of May birthdays will be on Monday, May 4, with birthday cake and ice cream for the regular monthly meeting. May 4 is also the first Monday of the month and we’ll be celebrating seven birthdays at lunch that day, with ice cream and cake.
Menus:
• Note the special meal planned for the second Saturday of May and mark your calendar to bring your mother, mom, wife, or just a good friend, to the May 9 second Saturday Mother’s Day dinner.
• Lunches are served Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week at noon.
• Dinners are served at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.
• Wednesday, April 22: beef and vegetable stew, fry bead, cake, fruit
• Friday, April 24: chef salad, soup, buns, fruit cocktail bars
• Saturday, April 25: roast beef, potatoes and gravy, 4-bean salad, yams, angel food cake with strawberries
• Monday, April 27: fish filets, fried potatoes, coleslaw, fruit, cake
• Wednesday, April 29: baked spaghetti with meatballs, salad, garlic bread, orange slices, brownies
