ST. IGNATIUS — Members of the Treasure State Chorale will perform a benefit concert for the Mission Church at St. Ignatius. Donations received at this performance will go to the current restoration project at the church.

The theme “A Wonderful Day Like Today” gives the audience the opportunity to hear a variety of choral music that demonstrates the impact of music on lives. All genres of music will be represented, from Baroque to Broadway. Songs about love, lost love, and love of country and our fellow man are featured in the first part of the program. The second part of the program begins with an exciting Haydn piece from the Classical period, and continues with a sacred theme of music that represents faith, hope, thanksgiving, supplication, praise, tribute, and inspiration. The grand finale of the program features choir, brass, and strings in a concert arrangement of a 19th century hymn written to commemorate the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

This benefit concert is to be held Mission Church in St. Ignatius on Sunday, April 26 at 7 p.m. Please note that doors for the concert will open at 6:30 p.m. allow the Chorale to rehearse privately.
