Jean Cote Bosley

POLSON — Jean Cote Bosley, age 88, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 in Polson. Jean grew up in St. Ignatius and attended St. Ignatius Ursuline Academy and St. Ignatius High School. She married Bruce Bosley on Aug. 9, 1943 in Missoula. After Bruce got out of the military they moved to Bremerton and Everett, Wash. In 1959 they moved to Phoenix, Ariz., and in 1977 they moved back to St. Ignatius.

Jean enjoyed embroidery, crewel, and crocheting (which she taught to her grandchildren). She also enjoyed gardening.

Jean is preceded in death by seven siblings; Edna Wheeler, Emily McNaughton, Hazel Moran, Bill Cote, Leonard Cote, Dora Mae Gritman, and Ben Cote; and one grandson, Lucas Bosley.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce of St. Ignatius; four children, sons Bruce C. Bosley and Daryl Bosley, both of Ariz., Clyde Bosley of St. Ignatius, and a daughter, Beverly Madden of St. Ignatius; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister Lyla Smyth of Polson; and numerous other relatives.

Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 6, at 10 a.m. at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory of Polson are entrusted with arrangements.
