Ida Frances Anderson

RONAN — Frances Anderson passed peacefully, June 11, 2015, with her daughter, Robin, at her side.

Ida Frances was born Feb. 5, 1935, to James and Iona (Jordan) Foster in Eastland, Texas.

They migrated to California, with her Dad working in the oil fields; later moving to Lake Tahoe to develop motel/housing properties.  

On April 19, 1952, Frances married Paul Anderson. They worked with Frances’ parents in the Tahoe business until 1970 and then, moved to Ronan and purchased Economy Foods. 

Frances, Paul and family were an integral part of the Wrestling Booster Club, for many years.

In 1988 Frances and Paul started Rocky Mountain Showers and later Rainbow Septic was added.

Frances worked extensively/tirelessly, and was a successful businesswoman. Her daughter Debbie also worked in the businesses assisting her mother in her success.

Jim presently operates RMSC, with wife Judy. Tom presently operates RS with wife Melissa.

Frances is survived by her husband Paul; children: Debbie (Dave) Long; Robin Matthews; Jim (Judy) Anderson; Tom (Melissa) Anderson; grandchildren: Dustin, Dan (Debbie’s); Robert, Rich (Robin’s); Jeremy, Joshua, Janelle, Jacob (Jim’s); TJ (deceased), Sarah, Tyler, Garrett and Lathan (Tom’s); great-grandchildren Tyler, Morgan, Jack, Nate, Sarah, Thomas, Hunter, Kayley, Heidi, Havannah, Dawsyn, Daryn, and McKenzie. Her sister Susan (Eric) Swann also survives her.

Services are Saturday, June 20, at 11 a.m. at Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Ronan.
