POLSON — Mark your calendars and dig out your dancing boots because the Mission Mountain Northern Rodeo Association Rodeo is coming Friday and Saturday, June 26 and 27.

Don’t miss children beginning their rodeo careers riding big wooly sheep or mini bulls as performances start with the kids’ events each evening at 6:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. the NRA rodeo begins with stock provided by Big Circle Rodeo.

Polson’s rodeo arena has some of the most beautiful scenery in Montana, with a panoramic view of the Mission Range and Flathead Lake.

Visitors and area residents can take a break from traveling or putting up hay and come to the rodeo. Polson Fairgrounds, Inc., produces the rodeo, sells food and runs a beer garden.

After the Friday performance, there will be live music by the Crawford Brother Band so folks can dance all night.

There’s a free non-food vendor fair for people who’d like to set up a stand or tables. Call Sharon at 406-261-861 for vendor details.

Ten kids who weigh 50 pounds and less will compete in the mutton bustin’ each evening. To enter your child call Jodi at 406-261-5765 on Monday, June 22 from 6 to 7 p.m.
