POLSON — The wild roses have bloomed and gone, but perennial and annual plants are growing and flowering. Know a neighbor who has beautiful flowers or admire the plants around a business?
The Beautification Committee of Envision Polson is holding its annual Best Bloomin’ Residence and Best Bloomin’ Business.
People can nominate a business, a neighbor or themselves. Forms are available at Southshore Greenhouse, Delaney’s Landscape Center, Inc., Mission View Greenhouse, Vine and Tap on Main Street and the Polson Chamber of Commerce Office and website. There is no limit to the number of nominations, but a separate entry form must be filled out for each nomination.
Forms are due by July 17, either at the Chamber office or by mail to Polson Chamber of Commerce, 418 Main Street, Polson, MT 59860.
Judging will consider the front yards of residences and the front of business beginning on Monday, July 20 and continuing through Friday, July 24.
Boundaries for contest entries are: Hwy. 35 east to Fulkerson’s Corner; the city limits of Polson; Kerr Dam Road to the intersection of Back Road; and Rocky Point Road to the start of Kings Point.
