I am thankful for Santa's visits
There are many older residents of St. Ignatius who are blessed when a special "Santa" arrives at their homes. Christopher McCollum's visit is a gift he has given me for many years — reminding me of the gift Jesus Christ gave the world at his birth.
I wait each year for my visit from Santa. He arrived the other night wearing a beautiful new suit. He has outgrown several suits over the years. This year he must be six feet tall and so good looking.
My Christopher McCollum "Santa" will be moving on and I'll miss him. He'll achieve great things. He's been the best part of my holiday season. He's special and I know that his parents, Dale and Mary Lou are proud of him.
Wayward kids today just need good, caring parents.
Thanks Santa. Merry Christmas.
I'll miss you.
