Richard 'Pastor Dick' T. Hatlin
POLSON — Richard "Pastor Dick" T. Hatlin, 92, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at home.
Born August 24, 1917, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Thorvald and Hertha Walvig Hatlin, he enlisted in the Civil Conservation Corps and later in the Marine Corps.
He was a 31-year Veteran defending our nation in World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam.
He recently received three college degrees proving that you’re never too old for educational endeavors.
His first wife, Audrey Lindeke Hatlin preceded him in death.
Survivors include wife, Julene Morrison Hatlin; daughters Rita (Gordon) Tobey and Marsha (John) Mosley and step-children Marlette, Brian, and Michele.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 1, 4-7 p.m. at Grogan Funeral Home. Funeral services with military honors will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 2, at 10:30 a.m. at Grogan Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Monday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery.
