Children’s Choir looking for sponsors, accompanist

MISSION VALLEY — The Mission Valley Children’s Choir, directed by Cathy Gillhouse and Pastor Seth Nelson, is looking for a sponsor and an accompanist. The choir meets from 4-5 p.m. every Wednesday at the Faith Lutheran Church located at 406 Fifth Ave. SW in Ronan.

The choir is free to its participants, but has some expenses such as weekly after-school refreshments, accompanist, performing shirts, office supplies, etc. Mrs. Gillhouse said that a sponsor would be credited on all news articles, concert programs, and performing shirts. So far, there are twenty children participating in the choir and she expects that number to grow.

The choir is learning show tunes, patriotic songs, multi-cultural songs, spirituals and American folk songs. All Mission Valley children are invited to participate from grades three to seven.
