ST. IGNATIUS — There is still time to sign up for the AARP driving course designed for seniors at the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center on Friday, Nov. 6. The class will run from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The charge for the course is $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers. The class includes a workbook. Insurers give rate reductions for those taking the course. Stop by or call to sign up for the lesson.
The activities at the center for November are:
— Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
— Lunches begin at noon.
— Dinners begin at 5:30 p.m.
— Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
— Lunches may be delivered to qualified seniors.
— Wednesday, Nov. 4: pork chop dinner, 5:30 p.m.
— Friday, Nov. 6: AARP driving course, 9 a.m.; shepherd’s pie lunch
— Monday, Nov. 9: pinochle, 7 p.m.
— Tuesday, Nov. 10: board of directors, 10:30 a.m.; breakfast for lunch
— Friday, Nov. 13: baked chicken and birthday cake lunch
— Tuesday, Nov. 17: stir-fry and rice lunch; foot clinic
— Wednesday, Nov. 18: Thanksgiving turkey dinner, 5:30 p.m.
— Friday, Nov. 20: taco salad lunch
— Tuesday, Nov. 24: soup and sandwiches lunch
— Friday, Nov. 27: closed
