RONAN – Norma Piedalue, 85, of Ronan, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, at her home from natural causes.
Norma was born Sept. 8, 1930, to Steve and Thelma Bennett in Bassano, Alberta, Canada. Raised in the Mission Valley, she graduated from Ronan High School in May 1949 and married her high school sweetheart Eugene (Chief) Piedalue in June of 1949. They were together until his death in December of 2010.
Norma’s favorite times were spent with family and there wasn’t a thing she wouldn’t do for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed working in her yard and garden and was always busy. The last few years were difficult for her because she couldn’t be out doing the things she loved.
Norma is preceded in death by her mother, father and stepfather, Jean Norton; her husband Eugene (Chief); two sons, Eddie and Ernie; and, brother, Steve. She is survived by her daughter Pat Bristol (Bob) and son Leonard (Gail); grandchildren Charity Cheff (Monty) and their children Kail and Seth; Ernie Bristol; Jacinda Tenas (Michael) and children Jerrel Chiefstick, Jaryn, Jeyani, Jelayna, Jadrin; Ray Dalke; and Thomas Dalke. Her sister, Carol Croft and brothers, Scott and Jerry Bennett also survive her.
A Vigil Service will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Shrider-Thompson Funeral Home and a funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ronan.
