RONAN — The VFW Auxiliary 5652 of Ronan chose the Mission Valley Animal Shelter this year for their “Make a Difference Day.” A group or someone that makes a difference for the good in our community, is recognized and given a $100 gift and is recognized by a Certificate of Appreciation. Jill Simpson is the director of the animal shelter and gives many hours in caring for the dogs and cats that are brought to their facility. We thank her and the MVAS staff.
