Finley Point camping reservations open Jan.  6

News from Montana State Parks

FINLEY POINT – Finley Point State Park will be open for reservations for the 2016 camping season on Jan. 6, 2016. Reservations can be made by visiting stateparks.mt.gov or by calling 877-922-6768.

Reservations were not available this fall, as a park construction project was tentatively scheduled for spring 2016. The construction project at Finley Point State Park follows an environmental assessment and public comment that was completed in 2013. The project will include new vault latrines, a reconfiguration of the RV campsites, and addition of new tent sites. The project is expected to proceed in fall 2016 after the reservation season has ended.

New for 2016: Boat slips will also be available for reservations. We have renumbered the current boat slips and are now providing people the opportunity to rent boat slips prior to arriving at the park. There will still be some available on a first come, first served basis.

For more information, contact Park Manager Amy Grout at 406-837-3041 or at agrout@mt.gov

Finley Point State Park is located at 31453 S. Finley Point Road, Polson, MT 59860
