Steve Hetzman
POLSON — Steve Hetzman, 63, of Polson, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, due to complications from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
Steve was born on Aug. 7, 1952, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Richard and Irene Hetzman. He spent the majority of his life in Michigan where he held various occupations including purchasing manager, OTR truck driver and caregiver of his father. His passions in life were fishing, major league baseball, western movies, woodworking, crossword puzzles and Tony’s steak sandwiches. Steve especially loved his Detroit Tigers and attended their games from coast to coast. He loved going to the ballpark and saw the Red Sox, Cubs and Mariners at their home fields as well.
Steve’s daughter and special son-in-law, Lisa and Nolan Michel; his grandchildren, Kaya, Malela, Tehya and Trace Michel; his son, James Hetzman of Sagninaw, Michigan, and his sister, Debra (Mike) Zazo, also of Saginaw, Michigan, survive him. His parents and twin brother precede him in death.
A private prayer was held with the family and cremation will take place with the Lake Funeral Home and Crematory.
