FLIC officially kicks-off at 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22, with a themed Opening Night Party, “Cinema Royale – 00FLIC,” at the KwaTaqNuk Resort. Attendees are encouraged to wear Bond attire. For those attending the 7 p.m. screenings, the party wraps-up by 6:45 p.m. allowing time to get to the theater, but those not attending the screenings can party on until 7:30 p.m. The festival’s wide array of films will unspool on both Showboat Cinema screens. Saturday morning at 8:30 a free family movie screening of “Paddington” is showing on both screens. Attendees are encouraged to show up in their pajamas and enjoy a free breakfast provided by the Polson Rotary Club. No advance tickets are available, and seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
