Ardith Jane Roragen Cordis
ONTARIO, OREGON — Ardith Jane Roragen Cordis passed away March 8, 2016, in Ontario, Oregon.
She was born in Fertile, Minnesota, on June 24, 1941, to Madeline and Lawrence Roragen. Her siblings included: Kenneth, Truman, Cyrus, Loren, Terry, Randy, Lorena, Roselie, Victoria, and her twin, Audrey. Her brother Robert Dean passed away shortly after birth.
The family moved to Kalispell, Montana, when she was twelve. She dated and went on joy rides and won medals with her shooting in the late 1950s.
She married the first time at 19 and had Laurel in 1960 with son Larry coming along in 1968. She married Richard Randall Cordis in 1973. Living in Ronan for a short time, then settling down on the Cordis Ranch in St. Ignatius. Randy passed away in 2008.
Ardith was living in Ontario, Oregon, with her daughter and son-in-law when she passed.
She leaves her daughter Laurel (Ken) Adams; son Larry (Shelly) Cordis of Ronan; grandchildren Randi, Austin, Michael, Jake, Riley and Rachel; and great-grandchildren Anthony, Kiani, Jalen, Kawika, Lahela and Kenzo. Her wake was held March 20 in Ontario, Oregon.
