News from the Ronan Police Department

The Ronan Police Department has a lost and found inventory of bicycles and wishes to return the bicycles back to their rightful owners. The bicycles currently in inventory were unable to be linked back to their owners through the usual means. In an effort to allow people to recover their bicycles, the department is planning to let people view the inventory on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ronan Police Department.

If you believe your bicycle is in our inventory please contact Officer Acheson at 406-676-0223.  Ownership will then be verified with a written certification by the claimant. Please visit the Ronan Police Department on May 27-28 if you are missing your bicycle so bicycles can be returned to their rightful owners.

The Ronan Police Department now offers a bicycle registration program. Bicycle registration will be available at the Ronan Police Department during business hours, and is free to the public.

To register your bicycle you will need to bring the following information: Owner name, address, city, zip, phone number, school (if applicable), and serial number, make, model, type, color, wheel size and frame size. There is no need to bring the bicycle to register it. A bicycle registration sticker will be provided to you to place on the bicycle.

If you have any questions, please contact the Ronan Police Department at 406-676-0223.
