Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases April 15-21:

Leroy Michael Charles, 39, pleaded not guilty to an amended plea of violation of a protective order, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $100, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Mark H. Andrews pleaded not guilty to an amended plea of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 with $150 suspended, $35 in court costs and 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Rachelle Mary Mathis, 24, pleaded not guilty to an amended plea of driving without a valid driver’s license. She was fined $500 with $400 suspended, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Ronald John Parker, 45, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $400 suspended, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Chantel Dawn Cooper, 18, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was fined $500 with $250 suspended, $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Tierney Christin Strandberg, 22, forfeited a $20 bond for speeding.
