RONAN — Lake County Democrats will hold their annual Spaghetti Dinner/ Fundraiser on Thursday, June 2 at 6 p.m. at the North Crow Clubhouse, off Old Highway 93 at the corner of North Crow Road and North Foothills Road. The cost is $25 per person.

The featured guest speaker will be Butte native Carol Williams. She will be talking about the importance of actively participating in the coming primary and general elections and discuss the arrangements for the State and National Democratic Conventions.

Carol is the wife of Pat Williams, former nine-term congressman from Montana. She spent more than a decade as a Montana State Legislator, first in the State House of Representatives, and later in the State Senate from 2004-2012. She was Montana’s Democratic nominee for Lt. Governor in 2000, and in 2011 rose to the position of Minority Leader in the Montana Senate, making her the State Senate’s first female Minority and Majority Leader.
