POLSON — North Lake County Public Library in Polson will host highly-acclaimed Billings author Russell Rowland for a book reading and signing on Monday, May 23, at 4 p.m. He will present his new book Fifty-Six Counties: A Montana Journey. The event will be held in the library meeting room. It is free and open to the public.
Rowland spent nearly two years traveling to each of Montana’s 56 counties in order to write the book, which had been called “a gorgeous accomplishment.” He is also the author of three novels set in the state, as well as co-editor of an anthology entitled West of 98: Living and Writing the New American West.
