RONAN — Clearwater Montana Properties recently donated $2,116.05 to the Boys and Girls Club of the Flathead Reservation and Lake County.
They chose to give a portion of their commissions to the Boys and Girls Club because the club serves the entire Lake County community, according to Carol Tibbles, broker at the Polson office.
Club executive director Aric Cooksley said the corporate contribution will benefit the summer program’s field trips and keep students engaged in educational activities.
Since its founding in 1994, Clearwater Montana Properties, with headquarters in Seeley Lake, has emphasized community-building as a key component of its company culture. Through its Charitable Giving program, the company’s 80 agents give back a portion of all real estate proceeds to the Montana communities in which they were earned. To date, the program has produced more then $350,000 in charitable donations to causes throughout the state, including more than $60,000 in 2015 alone.
“Being a positive force in our local communities is the core of what we do,” Clearwater CEO and Broker Kevin Wetherell said. “When you do business with us, you’re also supporting the growth and development of the areas we serve.”
