GLENDIVE — Quinn Motichka of Polson, 16, competed with nine other teens in the Miss Montana’s Outstanding Teen competition June 9-11 in Glendive, held in conjunction with the Miss Montana Scholarship pageant. Quinn’s talent is a vocal performance, and she was honored with the Outstanding Interview award.

Daughter of Trevor and Marcie Motichka, Quinn plans to earn a degree in engineering at one of the U.S. military academies after graduating from high school. Her brother is her role model and she has watched him be accepted into West Point. Quinn has maintained a 4.0 as a three-sport athlete.

Most influential in her life is her grandmother because she embodies every good quality and accepts others’ faults. Quinn’s platform is Youth Bringing Generations together.

Faith Johnson, 16, of Helena, took the crown and a $1,000 scholarship.
