Two Eagle River photographers to display New York images

PABLO – Fourteen Two Eagle River School photography students had the opportunity to travel to New York City at the end of March for a once in a lifetime photography experience, and will show their work at the Peoples Center this summer.
The students toured The New York Times, New York University photography program, Aperture Magazine, International Center of Photography, and the photo collection at the Modern Arts Museum.
The students also had the chance to stroll through Chinatown, visit the Cen- tral Park Zoo and participate in a photo classes put on by NYU students. Area photographer David Spear coor- dinated the trip and said that the stu- dents created strong work that they are excited to share with the community. The public can view the exhibit titled “Rez Made New York” at The Peoples Center Education Gallery starting Wednesday, July 6 from 5-8 p.m. with an artist discussion at 6 p.m. The show will be running through Dec. 15.
