Quilt raffle tickets available

ST. IGNATIUS — Every year Ayleen’s Thursdays Quilters donate a handmade quilt to the St. Ignatius Senior Center to raffle. Tickets will be sold from now until mid-December when the quilt will be given away at the Christmas dinner held at the senior center.

The quilt is on display at Valley Bank in St. Ignatius, where tickets will be available. Between now and December, look for the quilt on display at various places.

The quilters meet twice a week at the center to work on a variety of projects. Ayleen Bain started the group many years ago and she is still involved into her 80s, still making beautiful quilts. The center is a great place to gather, work together, visit, share stories and ideas.
