ST. IGNATIUS – Within minutes, flames fully engulfed a single-wide trailer home on Sunrise Boulevard near the Mission Dam turn-off at Foothill Road.

“It’s a complete loss,” said Greg Gould, St. Ignatius Volunteer Fire Department Safety Officer and Captain.

The fire started sometime around 8 a.m. on Wednesday. The cause is under investigation. Two people lived in the home with their two dogs.

“Everyone is okay,” said St. Ignatius Volunteer Firefighter Tana Couture. The St. Ignatius crew responded to the scene. The Ronan Volunteer Fire Department was on standby in case the fire grew.
