RONAN — Did you know that in the fall, every leaf is a flower in bloom? If you haven’t been out to enjoy the beautiful colors, you should do so before they are gone.

We would like to give thanks to all who have donated fresh fruits and veggies to the center. Not only do we enjoy the fresh food, but it also helps with our food budget.

The center is having a “Pre-holiday Bazaar” on Saturday, Nov. 19. We still have some tables available, so if you have some handmade products you would like to sell, give us a call at 406-676- 2371. The tables are $10 each and lunch will be available for a minimum cost.

On Nov. 3, we will host a driving safety class (55 Alive). The class will be from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Bring a sack lunch.

The center also has a raffle going on. We have a donated a quilt, a Thomas Kinkaid picture and some smaller prizes to raffle off. The tickets are $1 each, or six for $5. The tickets can be purchased at the center from some of the members and we will have a table set up at the local grocery store. This is just one of the fundraisers that we must hold during the year, and we really are thankful for your help. The raffle drawing will be held in December.

We will be serving a noon meal on Halloween this year, so if you are in the mood, feel free to dress for the occasion.

On Thursday, Oct. 13, we will have our evening meal. We will serve a chicken dinner, starting at 5:30 p.m. The cost of this meal is $5 and all are welcome to attend.

Our next birthday dinner will be on Friday, Oct. 28, starting at noon.

The menus are finally done and are as follows:

— Wednesday, Oct. 5: liver and onions

— Friday, Oct. 7: spaghetti and meatballs

— Monday, Oct. 10: tamale pie

— Wednesday, Oct.12: sausage and peppers

— Thursday, Oct. 13: chicken dinner at 5 p.m.

— Friday, Oct. 14: chicken dumplings

The center is open on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for the noon meal, and on the second Thursday of the month for our evening meal.

These meals are open to everyone and we would be very happy to have you join us.
